A.The website provides easy instant email communication on each vehicle listing. The name and phone number of the contact person is also listed on each vehicle.

A. It is assumed that all buyers and sellers are experienced professionals in the automobile business and should exercise appropriate due diligence.

Concealed Defect Policy
Dlot.com offers buyer protection of up to $2500 per vehicle for concealed defects upon receipt of the vehicle by the buying dealership, subject to the following terms and conditions:
A concealed defect is defined as exterior damage or a major defect with the frame, engine or transmission that was not disclosed by the selling dealer, shown on an available photograph or revealed on the Carfax report all of which buyers are required to review prior to making a purchase. Interior blemishes, normal wear and tear, nicks and scratches, slight paint mismatches, uncompleted maintenance items, worn or mismatched tires or scratched or broken glass are not eligible to be considered herein. Any defect with a cost to repair of $500 or less does not qualify. The concealed defect must be reported to dlot.com within 24 hours of receipt of the vehicle at the buying dealership. Buyer must email info@dlot.com to make a report of a concealed defect by indicating the name of the selling dealer, the year, make and model and VIN of the vehicle and the nature of the concealed defect being claimed. Upon receipt of a report of a concealed defect dlot.com will contact the selling dealer and attempt to work out a satisfactory solution between the buyer and seller. If the selling dealer is willing to take the vehicle back and issue a complete refund to the buyer or the buyer decides to keep the vehicle then the concealed defect claim shall be deemed invalid. In the event that no satisfactory solution between the buyer and sell can be worked out dlot.com will reimburse the buyer for the cost to repair or remedy the defect up to a maximum of $2500 per vehicle. The cost to remedy the defect will be based on the dealers’ internal cost of repair with a markup of no more than 20% on parts or labor. If used parts are available and are considered to be commercially acceptable based on the age and mileage of the vehicle then only the cost of such parts will be reimbursed. Dlot.com reserves the right to physically inspect the vehicle at the dealer’s location. Dlot.com reserves the right to resell the vehicle to another dealer or to purchase it, at the originally purchased price, within 10 days of receipt of notification of a concealed defect, in which case no payment will be made for concealed defect. Willful misrepresentation by a seller will result in immediate suspension of the right to list vehicles on dlot.com. A dealer who makes repeated or frequent claims of concealed damage may have his buying privileges on dlot.com revoked at the sole discretion of the management of dlot.com. All remaining Terms of Use provisions listed on dlot.com shall apply to this policy.
